Amazing fun book!

Not Your Typical "beauty Book"

It seems like every other beauty book I have read is filled with self-empowerment and no practical advice, leaving me feeling like I've wasted money on nothing. Not the case with this book! Lindsey is uplifting but also practical and realistic. Before reading this book, I had a lot of misconceptions about the ways my diet and lifestyle affect my outer beauty. Not to sound corny, but I've noticed that my skin has started to glow and my outlook has improved so much since implementing many of the tips I learned in this book. For instance, I learned that I often confuse my hunger with dehydration, so instead of drinking fluids, I used to eat to no avail. This book is filled with tips that are so practical you will wonder why you didn't think of them yourself, but it's okay that you didn't because Lindsey did. ' Buying this book was a great decision!

A Woman's Best Friend!

I really enjoyed reading Secret Model Beauty. It is extremely easy to follow and full of useful tips. SMB is like having your own personal make-up artist, hair-stylist, cosmetologist, nutritionist and personal trainer all in one place, constantly by your side and trying to make you look and feel beautiful. This e-book quickly became the most frequently visited icon on my iPad! I find the book very inspirational, I feel as if the author is really talking to me and pushing me to work out, watch what I eat, take my vitamins and stay healthy and beautiful. The tips are super easy and they won't hurt your pocket. The book is very organized, full of vibrant images and it's not overwhelming at all like other beauty books that I have purchased in the past. What I also really appreciate about the book is that the author isn't pushing any beauty products; instead she is concentrating more on the benefits of various ingredients, herbs, etc. and leaves the brand preference up to the reader. Whether you are looking for a quick tip on hair and make-up or need inspiration to get into a workout routine this book will help you achieve results and feel fabulous!

Being a girl can be so time consuming. It takes a lot to manage the hair, make up, nails, working out, and being healthy. What is so great about this book is it offers precision in managing all of it, necessary tips in doing it correctly and even more, cost effectively. Lindsey Lockwood breaks down the layers of what it takes for us women to maintain our beauty and feel our absolute best inside and out.

Feel Beautiful on the Inside and Out

As a self-proclaimed beauty product hoarder, I thought I knew everything there is to know about looking great. After reading Secret Model Beauty, I learned that sometimes less is more and being beautiful begins by feeling beautiful on the inside. The book made me realize I need to pay closer attention to what I put in my body and how vitamins truly are essential to looking and feeling healthy. The author stresses the importance of sunscreen, making helpful suggestions about checking it for effectiveness due to temperature changes which can cause it to break down. I was never made aware of this prior to reading the book. Also, I learned that I do not need some of the expensive products I have been wasting my money on to get smooth skin. The book describes how to get rid of the dry, flaky skin on my lips without running to the pharmacy or cosmetic store and provides a Honey Foot Soak recipe (which smells amazing) made with ingredients I already have around my house. Secret Model Beauty has also helped me get into a healthier beauty routine by offering easy grooming techniques and dietary advice. It has transformed the way I look and feel on a daily basis. I highly recommend reading this book.

Beauty's Best Kept Secrets Revealed!

I felt more beautiful already after the first couple of chapters. I couldn't put it down! This book clarified a lot of things for me that are often overlooked in popular media. The author goes into detail about her experiences on and off the set with various makeup and hair products, revealing some of the secrets of the industry in the process, and she doesn't skip the importance of a healthy diet and fitness regime. This book is a gift to anyone who wants to let some of their inner beauty shine on the outside as well!
